With a CLASS 2 C licence, you can operate:
Large rigid vehicles over 7,500kg gross vehicle weight (GVW)
Vehicles with a separate cab and fixed body (not articulated)
A trailer up to 750kg
Common examples include rigid lorries, refuse trucks, tippers, mixers, and delivery vehicles
To apply for HGV Category C training, you must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid UK driving licence with category B (standard car licence), and have passed a medical examination confirming you are fit to drive large vehicles.
