Requirements

Full Category B (car) licence to begin your PCV journey
Category D licence already obtained (you must qualify for Cat D before adding D+E)
Minimum age of 18 or 21 depending on CPC route and employer requirements
Medical examination confirming fitness to drive passenger vehicles
Provisional D+E entitlement added to your licence
PCV theory tests (if not already completed during Cat D)
Driver CPC qualification if driving professionally for hire or reward
Practical D+E training and test using a coach and trailer combination
