Course Overview
The safe and efficient operation of counterbalanced lift trucks is critical to reducing downtime and maintaining productivity in warehouses, yards, and construction sites. This NPORS-accredited course is designed to equip operators with the practical skills and underpinning knowledge required to safely operate an industrial counterbalanced lift truck in both open and tightly confined spaces.
What You Will Learn
Upon successful completion of the course, operators will be able to:
Understand the Equipment: Locate and identify major machine components, driving controls, and understand the manufacturer’s handbook.
Pre-Use Checks: Conduct thorough pre-operational checks and report defects in accordance with legislative requirements.
Safe Manoeuvring: Configure the machine for travel and safely navigate laden and unladen trucks through open areas, confined chicanes, and 90-degree turns.
