Asbestos Awareness
Asbestos awareness is the critical first line of defense against the dangers of asbestos in the workplace.
It refers to a specialized training program designed to educate workers about the properties and health risks of asbestos, how to recognize where it might be found, and the correct procedures to avoid disturbing it . The fundamental goal is not to teach people how to work with asbestos, but to ensure they know how to work safely around it by avoiding any action that could release its harmful fibers.
